Jamie Alderton is a personal trainer in the fitness industry with a difference – he doesn’t just focus on the Body but also concentrates on the Brain and your Business too. He has broken multiple world records, the latest being in 2019 when he box-jumped the height of Mount Everest in under 24hrs.. All of this while building a very successful brand and business which is something he is now focusing on through his TrainerMind app which was launched in 2020.

  • What was the last book you read?

Jamie – I’ve got four books on the go at the minute – Traction by Gino Whitman and Launch by Jeff Walker.

  • Who is the leader you look up to the most?

Jamie – From a philisophical and pyschological perspective at the moment, its Alain De Botton – great books (which I’d highly recommend) and I do like listening to Robin Sharma – very much from the mindset point of you. From a mental toughness point of view though – David Goggins.

  • What did you want to be when you grew up?

Jamie – I always wanted to work in a fruit shop because I wanted to come home smelling of fruit – thats the first thing I remember wanting to do.

  • Whats the worst job you could imagine doing?

Jamie – One that involves not helping people – whatever job that would be.

  • Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn?

Jamie – I would say TikTok – there are not many platforms which leave you in a better place when you leave but TikTok is one of them. Its Twitter when Twitter was fun.
